Luminous

Luminous is a song written to celebrate the magnificent contributions of 4 women astronomers; their work shaped the way we understand the Universe. The video is meant to honor and remember these women, and to share a bit of wonder regarding the beautiful science they discovered. The women are Henrietta Leavitt Swan, Cecilia Payne Gaposchkin, Vera Rubin, and Beatrice Tinsley.

A lovely thing happened with this song: Beatrice Tinsley's daughter found it on YouTube, and shared it with all of her grandchildren. She got it touch with me to let me know about it.
